BAKED FALAFEL WITH HEALTHY SAUCE (NO TAHINI) / ETSİZ NOHUT KÖFTESİ (TAHİNSİZ)
Falafel is usually deep-fried and served with or in pitta bread, with a tahini sauce. It looks like a calorie bomb but it's actually an innocent protein bomb. Don't worry, I've got your back! :) This baked version is REALLY easy and quick to prepare, so filling and healthy...and tastes deep fried without deep frying! Ingredients: 2 cans of chickpeas (rinsed and drained) 1 chopped red onion 2 cloves of garlic, chopped 1 cup of chopped parsley Half a cup of coriander 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 tablespoon of lemon juice 1 tablespoon of ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of baking soda 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds (optional) Directions: 1.
